Where’s the Snow Going to Hit Hardest?

Let me break this down. Trust me, these numbers are significant for this part of the country.

Arkansas

Arkansas friends! Central and Northern areas like Little Rock and Fayetteville are looking at a whopping 7-13 inches of snow. That’s not a typo – we’re talking about serious winter weather here!

Southern Missouri’s Winter Wonderland

Our friends in Southern Missouri aren’t escaping this one – forecasts show 5-8 inches possible.

Tennessee’s Turn

Western Tennessee, including Memphis, better prepare for 6-10 inches of snow. Nashville? You’re looking at 3-6 inches, with higher amounts possible closer to Kentucky.

The Big Question Mark: The Transition Zone

Here’s where it gets tricky – there’s a real weather battle brewing in North Mississippi, North Alabama, and Southern Tennessee. Warm air from the South is fighting with cold air from the North, and the winner of this battle will determine whether some areas see snow or just plain ole rain!

Essential Preparation Tips

  • Stock up on essentials before Saturday
  • Keep devices charged (power outages are possible)
  • Avoid travel during the height of the storm
  • Check on elderly neighbors
