Don’t forget your furry friends tonight. They get cold too!
Huge changes in the Mid-South are coming! Sprinkles are possible before lunchtime with more widespread and steadier rain moving in after lunch. The afternoon commute should be a wet one, so plan on a few extra minutes for slower traffic. Always fun on a Friday. Uggh
It’s going to turn extremely cold tonight, with temperatures falling about 36 degrees from this afternoon to Saturday morning. I believe most of the steady rain will end by 10 pm if not sooner. Amounts don’t look to crazy, with generally less than 0.25 inches. Saturday morning’s wind chill will be around 18 degrees so bundle up, or don’t go out at all!
Looking ahead to the extended outlook, I don’t see any snow, ice, or freezing rain through at least early March.
Stay warm and dry out there friends!
